Use their service for the first time... Other service never pick up the phone only voice mail ( i hate that ) Called them in the afternoon and came in less than in a hour. Removed and installed my residential apartment water heater completed in less than 2 hours. Fair price and negotiated straight with the steve the owner directly ( not they are just like private contractors and bunch of guys with plumber tools with no license who has no idea to fix my water heater, as matter as fact "dependable"was my 3rd one after the other two walked away without giving me better solutions ) Steve and Rino were doing great job to my water heater. It was completely perfect and fits beyond my expectation. they were willing to do it over a mile just to keep up my satisfaction. I guess they are not just dependable for me.. Reliable as well... Keep up the good work guys. Makes your clients happy and you will get more referrals . Thank you so much for saving my time.

Once again, Steve lived up to the name of his company and went out of his way to replace my boiler in a timely manner. I appreciated how he returned my calls quickly and kept in touch with me regarding the progress of the installation. Both his technician Reno and he were polite and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend Dependable Plumbing.

The name speaks for it self. I had an emergency call with my toilet over flowing this early afternoon. So i called them an Betty had answered the phone very friendly an kind. She had sent a plumber to my home in no later then 20 mins to get the work done he too was very friendly as well. He got the job done in a timely matter an did a great job too. The prices were very affordable . I was very satisfied with the work that was done. I will recommend my family an friends for future services as well as my self.

As the name says, "Dependable Plumbing" and that they are. At a moments notice Steve and company will be there for you, from a smallest job to a massive job, the price is right, service is 5-Star, they leave your home clean and they're respectful your needs. I have used dependable for well over 20 years and they offer discounts when they can, especially when you're in need. Reno was just here replacing the cycling motor from the furnace to the baseboard heating system. Did a great job, he could have told me "you need to replace this part now" though instead he suggested taking care of it next heating season.

Steve got someone out to me last minute on a Saturday to move some plumbing for a kitchen renovation and saved the day. The work was done quickly and professionally. The price was comparable to other estimates I received and he went out of his way to make sure everything got done on time.

UPDATE TO THE BELOW REVIEW: I eventually had a different plumber come, Gene D Plumber, and he was able to install the shower parts I purchased without a problem. I wasted a trip to Bayonne to talk to the parts dealer who also confirmed that the parts would be fine. So I appreciate that Dependable was being cautious but it cost me weeks longer without a shower and a wasted trip to Bayonne. I called them today for a leaky shower. Their guy came and looked at the parts I had (I bought) and I appreciate that rather than try to botch the repair job he told me I had bought the wrong parts and he couldn't do the repair as is. Steve called me a few minutes afterwards to give me advice on what to go buy. I wasn't charged for the callout, which is what I expected given that no work was done nor even an estimate provided, but still some plumbers will charge you.

I had an incredibly poor experience with this plumbing company. They sent around a plumber who was very short of any real plumbing skills. He charged $200 to seal a strainer onto the sink which he managed to mess up. The strainer is fixed lopsided and is not centered correctly (there is also excess putty all over the sink hole). In addition, the plumber was unable to connect the new faucet telling me that I was missing a key part (the screw nut). It turns out I was not missing any parts, the glacier bay faucets use the plastic tubing to fix themselves to the countertop. The plumber specifically told me this plastic tubing did not belong with this faucet.... it’s frankly quite daunting when one considers the level of ineptitude. I should add that the plumber brought zero tools with him claiming that they had been stolen the day before (I wonder if he’s used that line before). Why the company is sending out plumbers with no tools to service jobs is simply beyond me. I can go on...the plumber attempted to connect the tailpipe to the new strainer but the tailpipe needed to be shortened...without the proper tools he used a pocket knife and made a poor cut. After he left I went and bought a new tailpipe and did this job myself. I would recommend people watch YouTube and do their own plumbing work rather than hire this company. It was one of those lessons in life.

Very rare to find a contractor that not only picks up calls every time but stand by service . Steve’s team came back to our project after project was finished without being asked to make sure everyone was satisfied. Will definitely use again Eric
